Breakfast Boost for Country Range

Breakfast Boost for Country Range

Country Range, the leading independent foodservice brand and lead sponsors of the prestigious Student Chef Challenge, has strengthened its breakfast offering by launching authentic Belgian Sugared Waffles and adding two new flavours to its range of Tulip Muffins.

The new arrivals, which come frozen and just need to be defrosted at room temperature, are available to caterers and foodservice operators exclusively through the Country Range Group network of independent wholesalers – www.countryrange.co.uk/where-to-buy/.

Breakfast Bonanza

Country Range Lemon & Poppy Seed Tulip Muffin – a light and zesty muffin with poppy seeds is filled with lemon curd and dusted with a sprinkling of sugar. Each muffin is 115g and comes in packs of 24 costing approximately £10.68 (45p each).

Country Range Raspberry & White Chocolate Tulip Muffin – a moist raspberry flavoured muffin made with a raspberry jam filling and containing creamy white chocolate chunks. Each muffin is 115g and comes in packs of 24 costing approximately £11.62 (49p each).

Country Range Frozen Belgian Sugared Waffles – these individually packed microwavable sugared Belgium waffles are the ideal on-the-go snack and contain no artificial colours or preservatives. Delicious for breakfast topped with honey or fruit, or just as tasty as a dessert smothered in ice cream and chocolate sauce. The 85g frozen waffles are available in packs of 20 costing approximately £6.67 (34p each).

Country Range Group Trading Director Martin Ward said:

“With breakfast being one of the fastest growing categories in the foodservice sector, it becoming more competitive all the time so operators and caterers have to be creative.  These new products offer something different and slightly indulgent to the usual breakfast menu, and not only taste fantastic but are also incredibly versatile.”
