Our story began in 2009, then known as Seafast Celsius, with a mission to provide value added services to the Frozen Food sector out of the Port of Felixstowe and establish ourselves as reliable and key service providers for the movement and handling of frozen food stuffs. With a close working relationship with the Port of Felixstowe and local authorities such as Port Health and the Local Council, we developed a unique cross docking model that saves time, cost and road miles and reduces carbon emissions for our customers. In 2014 Seafast Celsius became what we are known today “Seafast Cold-Chain Logistics”, further re-enforcing our message to the industry as bespoke and innovative suppliers for frozen handling and logistics. With an in-house ability to provide a “One Stop Shop” for all logistics needs ranging from Warehousing Services, Customs Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, Transport and Distribution we believe that Seafast can add significant value and expertise to the supply chain, ensuring that clients receive excellent service at the best possible cost. In 2021, Seafast expanded our services and increased the scale of our operations, with the opening of a purpose built and unique port centric facility in Felixstowe. This 100,000 square foot offers frozen storage and distribution from one of the largest ports in Europe, utilising an already tried and tested model that can lower costs, reduce carbon emissions through reduced road miles and promote efficiencies within the supply chain due to our unique location.
